Configure an Application Record Type for Licensing and Permitting
Track licensing and permitting applications by usage type, apply the correct fields and
validations, and standardize data capture for accurate and compliant decision-making by
configuring an application record type.
Required Editions
Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions of Health Cloud with the
Dynamic Assessments, Action Plans, and Omnistudio User licenses
User Permissions Needed
To create or change record types:
Customize Application
Create an individual application record type.
From Setup, in Object Manager, select Individual
Application.
Select Record Types.
Click New.
Select Master as the existing record type.
Enter a record type label, and then press Tab to populate the record type name.
For example, enter LicensingandPermitting
Make a note of the record type label, which is required later in this procedure.
Make the record type active and available to the appropriate profiles and page
layouts.
Save your changes.
In Setup, find and select Application RecordType Config.
Click New Application RecordType Config.
Enter a label for the record.
Select Public Sector Application Forms as the application usage
type.
Select Individual Application as the object name.
In Record Type Name, enter the record type label of the individual application that you
created.
Save your changes.
