          Reschedule Visits with Home Health

          If a patient is unavailable for a visit, you can reschedule that visit from their patient record page.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health Cloud and the Home Health Add-on license

          To reschedule visits: Manage Home Health

          The location of the user interface where you can schedule visits depends on how your Salesforce admin configures your org. If you can’t find the user interface, ask your Salesforce admin for help.

          1. In the App Launcher, find and select Home Health.
          2. Go to the Accounts tab and open the patient’s record page.
          3. In the All Home Visits section, select the visit, click the Action button, and then select Reschedule Visit.
            Use the calendar view and filters to zero in on particular visits.

            Note

            You can’t reschedule a visit that’s part of a group visit.

            If you reschedule one of the dependent visits, Home Health reschedules the other visit as well.

          4. Select the date that the patient wants to reschedule the visit to.
          5. Select an appropriate scheduling policy. If you don’t know what scheduling policy to use, ask your Salesforce admin for help.
          6. Click Next and Finish.

          That’s all you need to do for now. The assignment for the rescheduled visit happens in the background and we’ll notify you when we’re done.
