As a scheduler, you can simplify the scheduling process and provide better tracking by
creating a group visit for multiple patients in nearby locations and with similar health
conditions. Home Health bundles patient visits into a single group visit and assigns a single care
resource to the group visit.

To schedule group visits:
Manage Home Health
Group visits are more appropriate for common care facilities such as an elderly care home. A
single care resource caters and provides a common service such as preventive care,
physiotherapy, or a holistic checkup to all the patients in the group. Group visits help to
improve patient experience and reduce costs for several health conditions. Care resources also
save travel time and have the flexibility to handle the visits in any sequence.
In the App Launcher, find and select Home Health.
Go to the Group Visit tab.
Select a care service type and service region, and click
Search.
Home Health lists the patients matching the selected criteria.
Select the required patient records and click Schedule Visit.
You can select up to 30 patient records.
Note You can add a patient only once to a group
visit. If a patient has multiple clinical service requests, select only the row with the
required clinical service request.
Enter the address for the group visit.
Select a visit type.
Select a care resource service region.
Select the scheduling policy and appointment bundling policy for the group visit. If you
don’t know which policies to use, ask your Salesforce admin for help.
Select additional skills required for the care resource.
Indicate whether authorization is required for the visit.
Click Next.
Select the date and time of the group visit.
If you know when to schedule the visit, select Specific Time
from the Scheduling Preference field and use the Start Time and End Time fields.
If you only know the time slots when the patient group is open to visits, select
Available Hours from the Scheduling Preference field.
If you’re scheduling recurring visits, enter the number of recurring visits required in the
Visits Required field and specify how often the visits should recur.
In the Visit Frequency field, select either Every Day or
Days of the Week.
If you selected Days of the Week, then select the days you want the visits to
recur.
Click Next, and then click Finish.
Home Health creates the individual patient visits, bundles them into a group visit, and
schedules the group visit. Care resource assignment happens in the background and Home Health
notifies you when this is done.
