          Prerequisites

          Irrespective of whether you use external data or data from the Consumer Goods cloud schema, configure the required objects before you use the templates to load the data and generate predictions.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited editions where Consumer Goods Cloud is enabled.
          • If you use the Consumer Goods cloud schema, configure these objects in CRM Analytics.
            • Account
            • ProductCatalog
            • ProductCategory
            • Product2
            • ProductCategoryProduct
            • RetailLocationGroup
            • RetailStore
            • Visit
            • Promotion
            • PromotionProduct
            • PromotionChannel
            • RetailVisit
            • StoreProduct
          • If you use an external object, configure and prepare the Point of Sales schema.
          • If you use the Point of Sales data in CSV format, upload the CSV file to your Salesforce org to create a dataset. If you are creating the app for the second time or later, use the same dataset that you created from the CSV file, which you uploaded earlier.

            Ensure that the data in your CSV file contains these fields.

          Field Name Description
          Product ID Maps to a valid record in the product object.
          Store ID Maps to a valid record in the retail store object.
          Year Week Format of the business year and week: yyyyww.
          Revenue Revenue details of the product (product_id) in the store (store_id) during the given year and week (yyyyww).
          Sales Unit Number of units of the product (product_id) sold in the store (store_id) during the given year and week (yyyyww).
