          Add a Fixed Value to an Attribute on a Child Spec

          A fixed attribute value is a blank value or a preset value that users can't change.

          Before You Begin

          Add the attribute to the child spec. See Add Attributes to a Child Spec.

          1. Select the attribute and make sure Is Configurable is cleared.
          2. Select a Value Data Type:
            • Currency

            • Percentage

            • Text

            • Number

            • Checkbox

            • Datetime

            • Date

          3. To use a blank value for the attribute, leave the Value field blank. To preset a value, enter a Value, or for Datetime, enter a date in the left Value field and a time in the right field.
