Create Product Record Types for Insurance Coexistence
Create unique record types for the Product object to use in Digital Insurance
workflows. The unique record types ensure Digital Insurance products are excluded from Insurance
managed package UI components and workflows that filter by record type. You can also use the
record types to customize the record pages for users.
Required Editions
Available in: Performance, Enterprise, Unlimited, and
Developer Editions with Digital Insurance and the Insurance Industries and
Insurance Industries Extension managed packages.
The Insurance managed package creates these record types for the Product object:
Product
Insured Item Spec
Insured Party Spec
Coverage Spec
Claim Product
Claim Property Spec
Claim Injury Spec
For Digital Insurance, create unique record types for the Product object that differ from the
record types that the managed package creates and any record types that you created for custom
workflows. See Create Product Record Types and Product
Specifications.
