          Set Up Salesforce Pricing

          Before you use Salesforce Pricing, create your basic pricing data by setting up a default pricing recipe and pricing procedure, and sync pricing data. To gain insights into the pricing calculations performed, enable price waterfall.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions of Revenue Cloud where Salesforce Pricing is enabled
          1. Manage permissions for Salesforce pricing.
            Salesforce Pricing includes various permission set groups for Salesforce Pricing users. These users or personas perform various roles in implementing and managing your product’s pricing and procedures.
          2. Enable Salesforce pricing.
            Give your users access to the Salesforce Pricing objects and features.
          3. Turn off automatic addition of derived pricing assets to quotes and orders.
            When you add a contributing product, prevent its derived product assets from being automatically added to quotes and orders.
          4. Configure record sharing for Salesforce Pricing.
            For runtime users to access the data created by product designers or catalog admins, set up record sharing for all the Pricing entities.
