Assign Products to Catalog Categories

Organize products by assigning them to catalog categories and subcategories. You must create your product records first before assigning products to catalogs or categories.

Required Editions

View supported editions.

User Permissions Needed
View user permissions.

To assign products to catalogs and product categories, follow these instructions:

From the Product Catalog Management app's home page, click Catalogs.
From the catalogs list view, click the catalog with the catalog category to which you want to assign one or more products. For example, Insurance Claims Catalog.
From the Catalog page, click Categories.
From the Categories section, click the catalog category. For example, Auto Insurance Claim.
From the Category page, click Related.
In the Products section, click Assign Products.
Select one or more products. For example, Auto Claim Root.
Click Next.
Save your changes.
