The Claim Participant Lightning web component (LWC) offers a detailed, hierarchical
view of claim participants and their associated items. Add, edit, view, or delete Claim
Participants and Claim Items of type Damage or Injury. Configure dynamic and extended attributes
for each Claim Item. View the complete attribute details for each Claim Item in the side panel
to gain a thorough understanding of the specifics of each claim.
Manage Claim Participants Use the Participants tab on the Claim record details page to manage claim participants. You can add, edit, or delete participants as needed. As a claim adjuster, you can link a participant to a specific account or contact and link the participant to the relevant insurance policy. When adding a participant, you can assign one or more roles and indicate if the participant was injured. While the Claim Instance Identifier is auto-generated, you have the option to override its value when adding a claim participant.
Manage Claim Items Claim adjusters can manage claim items by adding, editing, and deleting them under a specific participant. To add a claim item, provide the basic details, and then configure its attributes. The system can automatically fill in the attributes for a claim item by referencing a related object, such as an insured asset.
View Participants Details on the Claim Record Page As a claims adjuster, you have access to view essential information about claim participants and its associated items and can complete tasks related to them.
Organize Participants List View on the Claim Record Page Use sort, search, filter, and freeze capabilities to look at the claim participant records and analyse the details that are most relevant to you. However, these capabilities don’t apply to the claim items associated with the claim participant records.
