Gain Insight into the Financial Impact of Claim Recoveries
Give team members a quick view of pending and actual claim recoveries and how claim recoveries impact overall financial exposure. Along with claim recovery data, financial summaries provide clearer views of payments and reserves by using industry-standard categorizations of paid and pending amounts.
Where: Available in Summer '22 and later releases.
Why: The simple, graphical format of the Financial Summary chart gives claims adjusters an easy way to monitor claim financials. The updated categorization of the data provides a more concise view of paid and pending amounts across losses and expenses. Adding claim recoveries to the chart completes the picture by showing pending and accepted recoveries and their impact on financial exposure.
How: The Financial Summary chart shows Pursued Recoveries and Accepted Recoveries for customers who use the Claim Recovery object. New chart settings control how estimated and actual recovery amounts impact the overall financial exposure calculation.
To configure Financial Summary chart settings, use Lightning App Builder. On the Claim Record Page, set up the Vlocity Claim Items Chart to show pursued recovery amounts, accepted recovery amounts, or both.
