Note
Note The Maximum Pages and Confidence Score Threshold fields in the global content extraction settings are available only in Health Cloud.
  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Intelligent Document Reader, and then select Intelligent Document Reader.
  2. In the Global Content Extraction Settings section, click Edit Settings.
  3. Enter the maximum number of consecutive pages from the first page of a document that you want to send for content extraction at a time.
The default value for Maximum Pages is 5. If a user selects pages that are already scanned, the pages aren’t counted against the limit.
  4. To indicate the reliability of data in a document, enter a number from 0 to 100 as the confidence score threshold. You can enter up to two decimal places.
When users create a record, fields that score below the threshold are highlighted.
  5. To extract information from identity documents, enable Amazon Textract Analyze ID.
The AnalyzeID API is used to extract information from identity documents.
  6. To extract tabular information from the documents, enable Amazon Textract Tables.
  7. To extract information using the natural language queries, use Amazon Textract Queries.
Note
Note The extraction process proceeds in sequential order. If you upload a 25-page document with a maximum page limit set to 20, only the first 20 pages are extracted.
