In the template page, the extracted document appears as a thumbnail with the extraction
status details. The auto-extracted fields appear in the Document Fields column. You can change the
view of the extracted document pages, and navigate across documents and pages of
documents.

User Permissions Needed
To auto-extract fields from custom documents:
System Administrator profile
To expand and view the full page of an extracted document’s page, click the page thumbnail.
Expanding a thumbnail also populates the Document Fields column with the fields extracted from
the page.
To navigate between documents, select the document’s name from the dropdown.
To navigate between the selected document’s pages, use the previous button or the next
button.
To zoom in or out of a document’s page, use the zoom buttons.
To change the view from thumbnail to a list view, click the thumbnail or list view
buttons.
You can navigate from a document field to the corresponding field mappings and from the
field mappings to the corresponding document field.
To view the fields mapped for a document field, click the field on the document
page.
To view the document field that corresponds to a set of mapped fields, click the mapped
fields’ row.
Note For identity documents, the two-way navigation from a document field to the mapped fields
and from the mapped fields to the corresponding document field isn’t available.
To add documents to an existing template, use the append button.
To remove the mapping of a manually added document field, click the delete icon on the
mapping row.
If the manually added document field is already mapped in another template, clicking
the delete icon resets the mapped target object field. The row with the manually added
document field is retained.
If the manually added document field isn’t mapped in another template, clicking the
delete icon removes the manually added document field as well as the mapped target object
field, if any.
To delete a document from the template, click the delete icon next to the document’s name
and save your changes. Deleting a document deletes all the related document field
mappings.
To delete a template and all the related field mappings, click the delete icon at the top.
You can’t recover a deleted template.
