            Limitations for Exporting Matrix Versions to DMN Files

            Decision matrix versions can be exported to Decision Model Notation (DMN) files from the Business Rules Engine app or by using Connect REST API. Before you attempt to export a matrix version, review these limitations.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions for clouds that have Business Rules Engine enabled
            • Decision matrix versions can’t be exported to DMN files if the version columns are of the data type Text Range or Number Range.
            • Columns with Currency and Boolean data types are converted to Number data type in the exported file.
            • The export fails if the DMN file size exceeds 2 GB.
