Show custom activities in the Activity Timeline by using a container object to link
standard or custom object records to an account. To display these activities in the timeline,
configure a container object, implement automation to link the records, and enable the custom
activity in your Activity Timeline settings.

Set Up the Custom Activity Container Object Create a container object to link custom activity records to their associated accounts and display them in the Activity Timeline. Use the Entity Type picklist field to define and represent the specific custom activity types you want to display for your users.
