Home office announcements are broadcast messages that appear on the home page. Use these
announcements to communicate organization-wide updates, reminders, or important information to
users. To create a home office announcement, create an app alert and set the Type field to
Announcement.

Sciences Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement Add-on license, and the
Life Sciences Customer Engagement managed package.
User Permissions Needed
To configure App Alerts:
Life Sciences Commercial Admin
From the App Launcher, find and select App Alerts.
In the Additional Message field, define the JSON content for the announcement on mobile.
In the message attribute of the JSON, you can include these supported HTML tags to
customize how the home office announcement appears on the home page:
In the Image URL field, enter the URL of the image to show in the home office
announcement. For more information, see Use Images in Home Office Announcements.
Save your changes.
Use Images in Home Office Announcements To show an image in a home office announcement, select an existing image from Salesforce Files or upload an image of your choice to Salesforce Files. Paste the image file’s download URL into the Image URL field of the app alert.
