Ensure that notifications reach the intended audience by using App Alert Territories. By
associating app alerts with specific territories, you restrict visibility so only users in those
areas receive updates relevant to their roles. This targeted sharing streamlines communication and
keeps teams focused on their specific responsibilities.

Sciences Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement Add-on license, and the
Life Sciences Customer Engagement managed package.
User Permissions Needed
To configure App Alerts:

Note App Alert Territories don't support hierarchy-based visibility. Alerts are visible to only
users whose active territory exactly matches a territory defined in an App Alert Territory
record. To send an alert to multiple territories, create a separate record for each.
From the App Launcher, find and select App Alert Territories.
Click New.
In Alert Reference Record, select an app alert or record alert.
Find and select the territory to link to the record. We recommend selecting a territory at
the lowest level of hierarchy.
Save your changes.
Note
You can also create an app alert territory by using the App Alert Territories related list on the
Related tab of the App Alert or Record Alert record page.
Remove all associated app alert territories before you delete the App Alert record.
