Configure Institution Doctor record types for both accounts and HCPs to align with your business
logic. Restrict manual account creation or configure search to help your team manage and
accurately locate Institution Doctor accounts.

Configure Institution Doctor Account Record Types To use the Institution Doctor Accounts feature, map the record type you’ve created for Institution Doctor accounts with Account and Healthcare Provider record types shipped with the product.
Turn off Institution Doctor Account Creation Make sure that Institution Doctor accounts aren’t created in an improper format. Automatic account creation enforces your organizational rules and data governance policies.
Configure Institution Doctor Account Search Filter By default, HCO search results exclude Institution Doctor account to prevent misclassification. To help your field reps accurately locate Institution Doctor accounts, add the Institution Doctor record type to the search filter.
Institution Doctor Account Batch Jobs Batch jobs are automated processes designed to manage Institution Doctor accounts efficiently. Make sure that all Institution Doctor accounts are valid by either triggering the batch job immediately or scheduling it for later.
