            Ins Doc Account Flows

            Salesforce provides pre-built flows to manage Ins Doc accounts. Clone these flows to work with Ins Doc accounts.

            Flow Description
            Create Institutional Doctor Accounts

            Automatically creates an Ins doc account and its related records, such as Contact Point Address, when you select Institutional Doctor Affiliation for a Provider Affiliation. These details are included in the flow.

            • A naming template for generated accounts so that the names are clear and consistent. For example, HCO Name–HCP Name.
            • Field mappings to specify the fields from the original HCP and HCO accounts that are cloned or pulled into new Ins Doc accounts.
            • Formula to generate a phonetic name for Ins Doc accounts.
            Validate Institutional Doctor HCP Fields

            Validates the updates made to restricted Ins Doc-specific HCP fields when a Healthcare Provider record is updated. Validates updates for these fields.

            • Record Type ID
            • Account ID
            • Related Healthcare Provider ID
            • Parent Organization Account ID
            Validate Institutional Doctor Account Fields

            Validates the updates made to restricted Ins Doc-specific account fields when an Account record is updated. Validates updates for these fields.

            • Account Name, First Name, or Last Name
            • Record Type ID
            • Parent Account
            Process Expired Provider Affiliations An autolaunched flow that sets the status of Ins Doc and HCP accounts to inactive if the associated provider affiliations have expired. This flow is triggered by a batch job.
            Schedule Process Expired Affiliations Batch Job Schedules the batch job that processes expired provider affiliation records.
