Before you set up Activity Plans in Life Sciences Cloud, make sure that you have the
required user profiles, licenses, and permission sets.

Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Life
Sciences Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement Add-on license, and the
Life Sciences Customer Engagement managed package.
Create custom user profiles for sales representatives and sales managers based on the
Standard User profile. Associate the profiles with the corresponding user records. See Create Custom Profiles for Customer Engagement Users.
Assign the Life Sciences Core and Life Sciences Commercial Admin permission sets for admins.
Assign the Life Sciences Core and Life Sciences Field Sales Representative permission sets for
sales representatives and sales managers. See Assign Permission Sets to Life Sciences Customer Engagement Users.
Assign territories to the sales representatives and sales managers. Assign the sales manager
to the parent territory of the sales representatives’ territory. See Assign Users to Territories.
Create an Ins Doc record type for both the Account and the Healthcare Provider objects. See
Create Record Types.
