            Ins Doc Accounts Setup

            Prepare your org by activating the Institution Doctor accounts feature, configuring related lists for accounts and HCPs, and cloning out-of-the-box flows.

            Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Life Sciences Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement Add-on license, and the Life Sciences Customer Engagement managed package.
            • Turn on Institution Doctor Account Feature
              Turn on the Institution Doctor accounts feature at the organizational level to help sales representatives capture their interactions with an HCP within the context of an HCO.
            • Ins Doc Account Flows
              Salesforce provides pre-built flows to manage Ins Doc accounts. Clone these flows to work with Ins Doc accounts.
            • Ins Doc Account Admin Console Configurations
              Configure Ins Doc record types for both accounts and HCPs to align with your business logic. Restrict manual account creation or configure search to help your team manage and accurately locate Ins Doc accounts.
            • Configure HCP and HCO Related Lists
              To go to related Ins Doc accounts from an HCP or HCO, create related lists on the Account and Healthcare Provider pages.
            • Align Ins Doc Territory with HCP and HCO
              Manually align HCPs with territories and all related Ins Doc accounts also get aligned with the same territory. You can also directly align an Ins Doc account with a territory. When you align an Ins Doc account with a territory, the associated HCP and HCO also get aligned with the territory.
