Here’s the typical workflow to use the Institution Doctor feature.
When you identify a relationship between an HCP and an HCO, create a Provider Affiliation record or update an existing one, and select Institutional Doctor Affiliation. Salesforce then automatically creates the Institution Doctor business account, for example, Tokyo University Hospital— John Smith. See Create a Provider Affiliation.
Identify the correct Institution Doctor account within your territory to plan your day. See Refine Account Search Results by Using Advanced Search Criteria.
Select an Institution Doctor account to perform your standard activities. Make sure you track every interaction is at the specific institution level. You can log visits, and record information such as capture insights, track medical inquiries, record ratings, and complete surveys directly against an Institution Doctor account. See Engage With Your Customers.
