Create an Enablement Coaching Assessment

Create a reusable, score-based assessment with Discovery Framework and OmniStudio. Activate the assessment questions, OmniScript, and Assessment Definition before coaches can create events.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Life Sciences Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement Add-on license, and the Life Sciences Customer Engagement managed package.

Create and Activate Score Questions

Create score questions and answer choices for coach and coachee evaluations.

  1. From the App Launcher, find and select Assessment Questions.
  2. Click New.
  3. Enter a name.
  4. Enter a developer name.
  5. For Data Type, select Score.
  6. Select a category.
  7. Enter the question text.
  8. Select Active.
  9. Add the choice scoring options.
    • Enter a value and assign a positive integer or decimal score.
  10. Save your changes.

Create an Assessment Form

Build and activate an OmniScript form that organizes the assessment questions used in Enablement Coaching.

  1. From the App Launcher, find and select Assessment Questions.
  2. Click Select Questions.
  3. For Usage Type, select Life Sciences Customer Engagement.
  4. In the OmniScript Details section, enter the name of the assessment.
  5. Select a language.
  6. For Type, select the exact value mapped for Enablement Coaching at the org level.
  7. Select a sub type.
    Note
    Note Make sure that the Type, Sub Type, and Language combination is unique to the Omniscript. Otherwise, the Omniscript build fails.
  8. In the New OmniScript section, edit the name of the untitled Step. Add more steps if required.
    Note
    Note Steps correspond to the pages in the form. You can group multiple questions in a single step. You can also create multiple steps in a single form. However, to view all questions on one page, don't use steps.
  9. Search for and select an assessment question set to see all the related questions.
  10. From the search results, select the questions and drag them to the step.
  11. Arrange the questions in required order.
  12. Click Build OmniScript.
  13. Preview the OmniScript and activate it.

Create the Assessment Definition and Share it with the Coach

Create an assessment definition from the activated OmniScript and give the coach access to it.

  1. From the App Launcher, find and select Assessment Definitions.
  2. Click New.
  3. For Omni Process, select an activated OmniScript associated with Enablement Coaching.
  4. Save your changes.
  5. On the newly created Assessment Definition page, from the Quick Actions menu, select Sharing.
  6. Search for and select the coach user.
  7. Select the Assessment Definition Access Level.
  8. Save your changes.
