Update Care Program, Care Program Product, and Action Plan Template Page Layouts

When you set the category to Provider Engagement Compliance (PEC) on care programs and care program products, certain fields become mandatory. Because these fields aren't available in the default page layouts, add these fields manually to the page layouts. Add relevant fields in the page layouts for three objects: Care Program, Care Program Product, and Action Plan Template. Adding these fields to the page layouts make sure that users can successfully save records and comply with provider engagement requirements.

Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Life Sciences Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement Add-on license, and the Life Sciences Customer Engagement managed package.
User Permissions Needed
To update page layouts: Life Science Commercial Admin permission set

Update Care Program Page Layout

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Object Manager, and then select Object Manager.
  2. Select Care Program, and then scroll to the Page Layouts section.
  3. Select the page layout that you want to modify (for example, Care Program Layout).
  4. From the Fields section in the palette, locate and drag these fields to the appropriate section on the layout:
    • Announce Date
    • Recycle Start Date
    • Extension End Date
    • Modification End Date
  5. Save your changes.

Update Care Program Product Page Layout

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Object Manager, and then select Object Manager.
  2. Select Care Program Product, and then scroll to the Page Layouts section.
  3. Select the page layout that you want to modify (for example, Care Program Product Layout).
  4. From the Fields section in the palette, locate and drag the LS Marketable Product field to the appropriate section on the layout:

Update Action Plan Template Page Layout

  1. From the App Launcher, find and select Action Plan Templates.
    Important
    Important Action Plan Templates are design-time objects that aren't accessible through the standard Object Manager. You must use the App Launcher to access and configure them.
  2. From the record page, click the gear icon and select Edit Object.
  3. Click Page Layouts.
  4. Select the page layout that you want to modify.
  5. From the Fields section in the palette, locate and drag these fields to the appropriate section on the layout:
    • Last Cycle Behavior
    • Restart Behavior
    • IsPreCycleRequired (optional)
    • Subcategory (optional)
    • IsStopAllowAfterCompletion
    Note
    Note While only two fields are mandatory, we recommend adding all four fields to ensure complete functionality when the action plan type is set to Provider Engagement Compliance.
  6. Save your changes.
