Generate Provider Engagement Compliance Cycles
When a new pharmaceutical product is launched, create a compliance program (care program). Use the related list of the compliance program to associate a product with the compliance program. Based on the territories defined for the product, Salesforce automatically shares the compliance program with territories.
Create a compliance template (action plan template) with the type Provider Engagement Compliance. Set the compliance cycles and how long they are. Every account compliance records created by using the template has these cycles.
Associate a compliance template and a compliance program. So, now you can create account compliance records for the HCO accounts participating in the compliance program.
Next, create an account compliance record (action plan) for an account using a compliance template. The care program associated with the compliance template gets associated with the account compliance.
After a newly launched product is officially delivered to an account, start the account compliance. If the product is delivered to multiple accounts, bulk update the status of the account's compliance to started.
When an account compliance starts and its status changes to In Progress, based on the cycles and the start date defined in the compliance template, Salesforce generates the cycle schedule. If the calculated cycle date is after the care program end date, Salesforce doesn’t create a cycle. If you've configured a pre-survey cycle in the associated compliance template, Salesforce generates a pre-survey cycle. Sales representatives can conduct and log their pre-survey visits before the account compliance period even starts.
Conduct Provider Engagement Compliance Visits
Each cycle has a color-coded status, such as New, Due Soon, Upcoming, Overdue, Skipped, and Completed. You can see the color-coded compliance list in the Account Compliance tab. Based on the status, sales representatives can identify the accounts that require attention, and create a visit for the compliance cycle and associate its assessment task with a care program. Based on the visit and cycle date, Salesforce links an assessment task to the relevant provider engagement compliance cycle.
During a visit, sales representatives record compliance activities by using an assessment task. After completing an assessment task, sales representatives submit the visit. Salesforce then changes the status of the corresponding provider engagement compliance cycle as completed.
If a product delivery is interrupted, sales representatives can stop and then restart an account compliance. Salesforce handles the compliance cycles based on the Restart Behavior defined in the associated compliance template.
