Subject Assignment Admin Console Configurations
Get to know all the admin console profile-level settings that control expert eligibility and subject compliance in Event Management. Also, learn more about how subject compliance works.
| Field Name | |
|---|---|
| Check eligibility for subject presentation | This setting ensures that only those experts who have undergone due training can present on the assigned subject at an event. When this setting is enabled, it prevents the addition of subjects on which the expert speaker isn’t trained to present. |
| Attendance History Subject Conflict Check in Days | The number of days system must check in the participant’s attendance history to confirm that the participant hasn’t already attended an event with the same subject. |
| Attendance Statuses for Subject Compliance | The status value of a participant’s attendance of a past event that qualifies them for the subject compliance check. |
| Participant Subject Compliance Check Actions | The action to be taken if a colleague, expert, attendee, or non-profiled participant fails subject compliance validation on account of attending an event on the same subject in the recent past. The actions you can configure are Block, Warn, and None. |
| Write-In Participant Subject Compliance Check Actions | The action to be taken if a write-in participant fails subject compliance validation on account of attending an event on the same subject in the recent past. The actions you can configure are Block, Warn, and None. |
| Subject Compliance External ID List | The API name of text field on the Subject record where you add the list of external IDs of compliance subjects. |
How Subject Compliance Works
- Subject compliance prevents changing the event’s start time if an attendee has attended an event with the same subject in the new proposed time frame. If you select Block, the system rejects the date change. If you select warn, the date change is accepted but with a warning, and a participant discrepancy reason is created. This compliance check is skipped if the Attendance History Subject Conflict Check in Days and the Attendance Statuses for Subject Compliance fields are empty.
- If an event is associated with a restricted subject product, the system will throw an error when you try to add a healthcare provider associated with the restricted product as a participant. If the start date of the managed event has already passed, the system allows you to add the participant with a warning. It will create Managed Event Participant Discrepancy record with a discrepancy reason, such as, Managed Event contains restricted product. If the managed event start date is in the future, the system prevents you from adding the participant.
