Create a Pricing Procedure

The pricing procedure defines the pricing rules and discount elements that are run when calculating prices for quotes. Create one pricing procedure with Life Sciences Commercial as its Usage Subtype. This procedure can coexist in the same org as procedures for other business units, and is applicable for both web and iPads. All Agentforce Life Sciences quoted orders are routed to this procedure and not to any other procedures in your org. You can't delete a procedure that is currently set as the default.

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Life Sciences Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement Add-on license, and the Life Sciences Customer Engagement managed package.
User Permissions Needed
To create a pricing procedure: Life Sciences Commercial Admin
  1. In the App Launcher, find and select Pricing Procedures.
  2. Click New.
  3. Enter a name for the procedure.
  4. In the Context Definition field, select an active context definition.
    For example, SalesTransactionContext.
  5. Set Usage Type to Pricing.
  6. Set Usage Subtype to Life Sciences Commercial.
  7. Save your changes.
  8. Click the pricing procedure version.
  9. Add pricing elements required for your business. See Pricing Elements.
