Get Your Org Ready for Quote and Pricing Users
After you turn on Order Management, grant your quote and pricing users the access they need to work. Create custom user profiles, assign permission sets, and configure object-level, field-level, and sharing access so field reps and sales managers can view and edit quotes, pricing data, and related records without permission errors.

Create Custom User Profiles for Quote and Pricing Users
Create custom user profiles for field reps and sales managers based on the Standard User profile. Associate the profiles with the corresponding user records, and give Read and View All permissions for Sales Transaction Type and Application Usage Assignments objects.
Assign Permission Sets to Quote and Pricing Users
Using Order Management requires multiple permission sets. Assign the necessary permission sets to users according to their roles. See Assign Permission Sets to Life Sciences Customer Engagement Users.
