What Order Management Does
As a pharmaceutical manufacturer, use Order Management for Agentforce Life Sciences to streamline store check, order capture, and pricing across multiple channels. Your reps initiate visits, complete store checks, then quote and price an order—online or offline, on the web or an iPad—without switching tools.
Order Management combines two capabilities:
- Store Check: Store Check turns a single visit into a structured, repeatable assessment. You define which products and assortments apply to a territory or account, then attach assessment tasks—availability, display, and promotional compliance checks—through an action plan template. This configuration makes sure that each visit reflects the right catalog and tasks for that account. Field reps assess product availability, display, and promotional compliance (if configured) during a store visit. When a rep completes a check, their responses roll up into KPI records, so you can spot compliance gaps and follow up by account or territory.
- Quotes and Pricing: Quotes and Pricing let reps build a quoted order from the products and price book you make available to their territory. A pricing recipe and pricing procedure determine which discounts apply—volume or tiered—and a sales transaction type ties each quote to the right procedure automatically. Field reps capture a quoted order from a price book that you control, apply discounts, capture an electronic signature, and route it for approval. Submitting locks the quote until a manager approves an unlock request or the quote is rejected. A Price Waterfall records every pricing decision—from list price down to final net price—as a line-by-line itemization of discounts and adjustments.
Because both capabilities share Visit and Account foundation, a field rep can complete a store check and create a quoted order from the same visit without switching context.
