Pricing Procedures

Pricing Procedures

Pricing Procedures (Expression Sets) define the sequence of pricing steps that are executed during price calculation. They specify which pricing elements to apply, and in what order.

Important
Important Agentforce Life Sciences supports on-save pricing only. Salesforce recalculates a quote's prices when a field rep saves the quote, not as they edit line items.
  • Create a Pricing Procedure
The pricing procedure defines the pricing rules and discount elements that are run when calculating prices for quotes. Create one pricing procedure with Life Sciences Commercial as its Usage Subtype. This procedure can coexist in the same org as procedures for other business units, and is applicable for both web and iPads. All Agentforce Life Sciences quoted orders are routed to this procedure and not to any other procedures in your org. You can't delete a procedure that is currently set as the default.
  • Pricing Elements
Pricing elements are the fundamental building blocks used to construct a pricing procedure. Use these elements to define how Salesforce calculates and applies prices for quoted orders.
