          Restrict an Account’s Access to a Product

          Account-level product restrictions help organizations enforce business and regulatory requirements by preventing the detailing, sampling, or ordering of specific products at restricted accounts. Use this functionality to limit product interactions to the appropriate accounts, reducing compliance risks and supporting adherence to industry regulations.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Life Sciences Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement Add-on license, and the Life Sciences Customer Engagement managed package.
          User Permissions Needed
          To create product account restrictions: Life Sciences Commercial Admin permission set
          1. From the App Launcher, find and select Life Science Product Account Restriction, and click New.
          2. Select the account that you want to restrict access for.
          3. Select the Life Science Marketable Product record or the product that you want to restrict access to.
          4. If needed, select the territory that you want to control the access for.
            When you select a territory, the product is restricted only for the account in that specific territory. If no territory is selected, the product is restricted for the account universally.
          5. Save your changes.
