Configure a Custom Label on a Quick Action

Configure a Custom Label on a Quick Action to display the correct label in the Life Sciences Cloud mobile app.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Life Sciences Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement Add-on license, and the Life Sciences Customer Engagement managed package.
User Permissions Needed
To configure Quick Actions: Life Sciences Commercial Admin
  1. From the App Launcher, find and select Life Sciences Commercial, select Admin Console, then click Quick and Custom Action Administration, and click Quick Actions.
  2. Edit an existing action or select New.
  3. In the Label field, enter the API name of the Custom Label you want to use.
  4. Enter values in these fields.
    For example, to create an email action on the home page:
    Field Value
    Label NewEmail
    Name New_Email
    Action Name Email
    Location Home Page
    Sort Order Any number
    Profiles Select a matching profile.
    SObject Account
    Important
    Important Select a profile or permission set. If both are empty, the home page action doesn't appear.
  5. Save the action.
