Configure a Create Medical Insight Action on Visit Engagement

Add the Create Medical Insight action to Visit Engagement to capture insights from a visit.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Life Sciences Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement Add-on license, and the Life Sciences Customer Engagement managed package.
User Permissions Needed
To configure actions: Life Sciences Commercial Admin

Visit Engagement actions come from the actions configured on the Account object. To add Create Medical Insight to Visit Engagement, add it to the Account page layout and turn on the Insight Settings.

  1. From Setup, open Object Manager, select Account, click Page Layouts, and select a page layout. Drag the Create Medical Insight action into the Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions section.
  2. From the Admin Console, select Insights, and then select Insight Settings.
  3. Turn on Let users capture insights from an account record page for the org or for a specific profile.
