Account Hierarchy No Use Dynamic Tree View Components for Life Sciences as a replacement.
Bulk Update on List View Partially Supported The Life Sciences Cloud mobile app supports simultaneous updates for up to 100 account or account-related records only. This feature is unavailable for non-account parent objects, such as Account Plans or other Life Sciences Cloud-specific objects.
Chatter No Chatter is not supported as a comprehensive collaboration tool within the Life Sciences Cloud mobile app, meaning features like feeds, groups, posts, and comments are unavailable. Furthermore, the application lacks a native user interface for engaging with Chatter groups or feeds.
Console App Navigation No The Salesforce Console framework isn’t supported within the Life Sciences Cloud mobile app. Therefore, features such as utility bars, subtabs, workspace tab navigation, and split-view workspaces are unavailable.
Einstein Activity Capture (EAC) for Calendar Sync No EAC calendar sync partially supports Life Sciences Cloud via standard events, email and tasks but lacks native ProviderVisit (Visit) support. Evaluate AppExchange products/vendors if you’re looking for Visit specific sync features.
Permission Set Groups No Permission Set Groups aren’t supported on the Life Sciences Cloud mobile app. Instead, use profiles or individual permission sets to assign user permissions.
Recently Viewed List View on Objects No Across all objects, the standard Recently Viewed filter and list view functionality is unsupported within the Life Sciences Cloud mobile application.

Mobile Support for Lightning Page Templates

In the Life Sciences Cloud mobile app, Lightning page templates support the mobile form factor, allowing organizations to design pages tailored specifically for field rep workflows on handheld devices. When you build Agentforce Life Sciences pages for mobile app deployment, select a phone form factor template in the Lightning App Builder to ensure the layout and components render correctly within the mobile runtime.

Mobile Support for Standard Lightning Page Components

Salesforce designs standard Lightning components, many of which are available for use on Lightning pages. This section outlines which components the Life Sciences Cloud mobile app supports or doesn't support. Also, learn about the custom Lightning page components available in Agentforce Life Sciences.

          Supported?

          Comments

Accordion Yes The Life Sciences Cloud mobile app fully supports the Accordion component.
          Activities No

The standard Salesforce Activity Timeline component isn't compatible with the Life Sciences Cloud mobile app. Instead, the app uses a custom Activity Timeline designed to support a specific range of objects. The app doesn’t natively show standard events, tasks, or other objects. However, it includes out-of-the-box support for the these features:

          • Assessment Task
          • Email Transaction
          • Medical Inquiry
          • Survey Response
          • Visit
App Launcher No The Life Sciences Cloud mobile app doesn't support the App Launcher component.
Blank Space No The Life Sciences Cloud mobile app doesn't support the Blank Space component, which is a layout utility.
CRM Analytics Collection, CRM Analytics Dashboard (Aura), CRM Analytics Dashboard (LWC) No The Life Sciences Cloud mobile app doesn't support CRM Analytics. For mobile data visualization, use Salesforce Reports, dashboards, and Tableau Next instead.
Dynamic Related List–Single No The Life Sciences Cloud mobile app doesn't support the Dynamic Related List–Single component. Instead, use the Related List – Life Sciences component, which is purpose-built for the Life Sciences Cloud mobile app. The Related List – Life Sciences component supports filtering (restricted to simple WHERE clauses that use {recordId}), and supports customizable columns and headers.
          Dynamic Record Forms Yes

The Life Sciences Cloud mobile app supports Dynamic Record Forms when Dynamic Forms for Mobile is turned on at the organizational level. Before implementation, confirm object compatibility by verifying the availability of the Fields tab within the Lightning App Builder. To ensure app stability, avoid these configuration conflicts:

          • Component Redundancy: Avoid placing both a Record Detail component and Dynamic Forms on a single page, as this redundancy disrupts visibility logic and causes action bar overlaps.
          • Legacy Conflicts: Make sure that Dynamic Forms aren't paired with legacy Aura components. These configurations can cause infinite refresh loops and UI flickering on mobile record pages.
Highlights panel Yes The Highlights Panel is supported from the compact layout and actions pulled from the Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience section of the page layout.
List View No The standard Salesforce List View component is unsupported within the Life Sciences Cloud mobile app. Instead, use the Life Sciences Lists and Filters features, which you configure via the Admin Console.
Recent items Partially supported Across all objects, the standard Recently Viewed filter and list view functionality, and the Salesforce Recent Records Lightning component, are unsupported within the Life Sciences Cloud mobile app. The Life Sciences Cloud mobile app provides a native Recent Items capability. However, it's restricted to a predefined set of objects and you can’t configure it through the Lightning App Builder. Users can navigate back to recently accessed records—including Accounts, Visits, Medical Inquiries, Presentations, or Time Off Territory—directly from primary pages like the Home page.
Record Detail Yes The Record Detail component renders fields and sections derived from the object's assigned page layout. Within the Lightning record page environment, the specific fields and sections presented to users are governed by their unique profile settings and page layout assignments.
Related List – Life Sciences Yes The Related List – Life Sciences component, also known as the Generic Related List or, is a purpose-built custom component optimized for the Life Sciences Cloud mobile app. It’s designed to replace standard Salesforce related list components to ensure native compatibility and functionality within mobile workflows.
Related list – Single Partially supported The Related List – Single component is supported within the Life Sciences Cloud mobile app. However, use the Related List – Life Sciences component for mobile workflows.
Related List Quick Links No The Related List Quick Links component enables hoverable previews and mass actions within the desktop interface. The component is unsupported within the Life Sciences Cloud mobile app.
Related Lists Yes Use the Related Lists component to incorporate all pertinent child records within your Lightning page layout. To ensure visibility, confirm that the assigned user page layouts are configured with the specific related lists intended for mobile or desktop deployment.
          Related Record No
Report Chart & Dashboard Partially supported

When you finalize the report and dashboard configuration, you can integrate these assets into Lightning page components to facilitate data visualization across both the Customer Engagement home page and record detail pages. These standard components are available for deployment via the Lightning App Builder.

          • Dashboard: Supported on the home page
          • Report Chart: Supported on the home page and Lightning record pages

Furthermore, users can access reports and dashboards through dedicated navigation tabs within the Life Sciences Cloud mobile app.

Limitations for Bar and Column Charts

Within the Life Sciences Cloud mobile app, standard bar and column charts are automatically rendered as stacked charts.

          Unsupported Chart Types

These chart types are currently unsupported within the Life Sciences Cloud mobile app:

          • Funnel charts
          • Scatter charts
          Rich Text Partially supported

The Life Sciences Cloud mobile app supports the Rich Text Area (RTA) component. However, the integration of images requires specific configuration for proper rendering.

The Salesforce Platform documentation doesn't explicitly categorize Rich Text as a standalone Lightning component. However, technical guidance confirms its compatibility with the Life Sciences Cloud mobile app.

To ensure images render within the Rich Text Area, use Files with Public Distribution enabled. Avoid standard copy and paste actions. Instead, drag images directly from the browser into the component.

          Key Considerations:

          • iPad Rendering: When configured using the drag method, the RTA component shows correctly within the Life Sciences Cloud mobile app.
          • Image Restrictions: Because the RTA servlet restricts mobile client access, standard copy and paste methods are unsupported. The mandatory workaround requires the use of Public Distribution files and drag functionality.
          • Search Limitations: Rich Text fields are excluded from Global Search results within the Life Sciences Cloud mobile app, regardless of search layout configurations.
          • Height Configuration: The Lightning App Builder lacks a native option to manually adjust the height of the Rich Text area specifically for iPad layouts.

In short, while Rich Text is operational on the Life Sciences Cloud mobile app, successful image management relies on using publicly distributed files via the drag technique.

          Salesforce Surveys Yes
Tabs Yes The Tabs component is fully supported within the Life Sciences Cloud mobile app.
Visualforce Page No Custom actions enable the invocation of Lightning components, flows, Visualforce pages, or canvas apps to run business-specific logic. Use these actions to streamline repetitive workflows and make sure that processes remain tailored to unique organizational requirements.
