          Capture Next Visit Objectives

          Configure next visit objectives so field reps can record goals for future interactions. Add the required section and fields to the page layout.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Life Sciences Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement Add-on license, and the Life Sciences Customer Engagement managed package.
          User Permissions Needed
          Modify page layouts, sections, and fields: Customize Application
          Access the Admin Console to configure visit settings: Life Sciences Commercial Admin permission set
          • Configure visit-level objectives to appear on the Visit Engagement page.
          • Configure product-level objectives to appear in the Product Discussion section.
          1. From the object management settings for provider visits, go to Page Layouts.
          2. Add a one-column section named Next Visit Objectives to the layout.
            That specific section name is required for the section to render correctly.
          3. Add the Provider Visit Next Visit Objective or Provider Visit Next Visit Objective Type fields to the new section.
          4. From the App Launcher, find and select Life Sciences Commercial, and then click Admin Console | Visit Administration | Visit Settings.
          5. In Product Detailing Settings, for Next Visit Product Objectives Fields Type, select Picklist, Text, or Picklist and Text.

          Objectives are copied to the next visit for the account.
