Customize Application
From the object management settings for provider visit product discussions, create custom fields and record types.
From the object management settings for visits, go to Page Layouts.
Add the Provider Visit Product Discussions related list to the layout.
This related list activates the + Add Discussion link inside the Product Detailing card.
From the App Launcher, find and select Life Sciences Commercial, and then click Admin Console | Visit Administration | Product Discussion Settings.
Select a product and move the applicable record types to the Selected list.
For each record type, configure rules such as requiring a discussion or limiting to one discussion.
From the App Launcher, find and select Life Sciences Commercial, and then click Admin Console | Trigger Handler Administration.
Activate the ProviderVisitProdDiscussionLockHandler trigger handler.
This handler applies only to the desktop site. For the mobile app, this logic is built
in.
