Configure state license validation to verify that healthcare professionals (HCP) have a
valid license to receive samples in a specific state.

Customize Application
Access the Admin Console to enable state license validation and generate the metadata
cache:
Life Sciences Commercial Admin permission set
Make sure that Business License records are created for your accounts
with these field values:
Compliance Scope: JurisdictionState
Organization (AccountId): The Account ID of the healthcare
professional.
Jurisdiction State: The state code (for example, AZ or CA).
License Number and Period End (expiration date).
From the App Launcher, find and select Life Sciences Commercial, and then click Admin Console | License Management.
Enable state license validation.
A license is valid if at least one record matches the account, the state code of the
selected address, and the validation formula.
Licenses are validated during signature capture, document ID capture, or visit
submission.
Optional: Rename the State label:
From Setup, search for and select Custom
Labels.
Locate the label for state licenses, click the label name, and click New Local
Translations/Overrides to define a new value.
