          Configure Signature Capture

          Customize the layout, disclaimers, and branding of the signature capture page to ensure compliance when capturing electronic signatures from healthcare professionals. Ensure audit readiness by capturing an image of the entire signature page when it's signed-off.

          Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Life Sciences Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement Add-on license, and the Life Sciences Customer Engagement managed package.
          User Permissions Needed
          Customize field sets on the Provider Visit, Business License, Product Disbursement, and related objects: Customize Application
          Access the Admin Console and manage compliance statement definitions for disclaimers: Life Sciences Commercial Admin permission set
          View signature capture layouts and disclaimers during visit execution: Life Sciences Commercial User
          Note
          Note Verify that field users have read access to all fields added to the signature page layout.
          1. To customize the signature header, edit the Visit Signature Fields field set on the Provider Visit and Business License objects.
            Add fields to the Business License field set to dynamically show the license relevant to the context. For example, the license that's linked to a shipping address.
          2. To configure activity table columns, edit the Visit Signature Fields field set on the transaction and product objects.

            You can add up to five fields per row from these objects:

            • Product Disbursement and Life Science Marketable Product for sample drops.
            • Provider Visit Requested Sample and Life Science Marketable Product for Direct to Practitioner requests.
            • Provider Visit Product Detailing for product discussions.
          3. Optional: Dynamically show signature disclaimers.
            1. From the App Launcher, find and select Life Sciences Commercial, and then click Admin Console | Consent Administration.
            2. In the Disclaimer Filtering Fields section, set the Account Territory Fields and Account Territory to filter signature disclaimers.
          4. From the App Launcher, find and select Compliance Statement Definitions.
          5. Click New and create a disclaimer record. If you configured signature disclaimers to appear dynamically, adjust the Jurisdiction Type and Jurisdiction Countries to match what you selected in Consent Administration | Disclaimer Filtering Fields.
            • Module Type: Visit.
            • Statement Type: Disclaimer.
            • Statement Text: Enter the legal text for the signature page.
            • Display Order: Enter the sequence for multiple paragraphs. For example, 1 so that this disclaimer text appears first.
            • Filter Attribute Values: Add optional text on which to filter disclaimers, for example a language code such as fr-FR. Separate multiple filters with semicolons (:).
            • Select the Jurisdiction Type and Jurisdiction Countries.
          6. Share the compliance statement records with the relevant users or territories.
          7. Configure the Company Logo.
            1. Upload your logo as a Static Resource named SignatureAreaLogo.
            2. Set Cache Control to Public.
          8. Enable the signature page snapshot.
            1. From the App Launcher, find and select Life Sciences Commercial, and then click Admin Console | Visit Administration | Visit Settings.
            2. Select Capture signature page snapshot.
          9. Generate the metadata cache. See Generate Metadata Cache.

          Note The Life Sciences Cloud Signature Page for Visit feature (the “Visit Signature Page Feature”) is solely intended to help Customers’ field representatives provide quality services by enabling review, collection, and documentation of HCPs’ signatures when they receive prescription samples or other related materials. Customers must comply with all applicable pharmaceutical, healthcare, and medicinal product-related laws in their use of the Visit Signature Page Feature. In connection therewith, it is solely Customer’s responsibility to: (i) ensure that any legally required disclaimers or notifications are made available, viewable, and/or accessible by HCPs prior to, or concurrently with, acknowledging their terms; and (ii) implement the appropriate disclaimer templates and configurations consistent with Customer’s use case and related compliance obligations.
