Before you get started with visits in Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement,
complete a few tasks to prepare your org for visit management features. These include ensuring
your Life Sciences org meets the prerequisites and has the necessary permissions, page layouts,
and core settings configured.
Required Editions

Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Life Sciences
Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement Add-on license, and the Life
Sciences Customer Engagement managed package.
Assign Permissions
Assign the following permission sets to users based
on their roles:
Life Sciences Commercial Admin: Grants access to configure settings, page
layouts, and scripts in the Admin Console.
Life Sciences Field Sales Representative: Grants access to create visits,
disburse samples, and capture signatures on mobile and web.
Life Sciences Field Medical: Grants access to record visits and medical insights
but restricts access to sampling capabilities.
Life Sciences Key Account Management: Grants access to record visits and
assessment tasks,medical insights,but restricts access to sampling capabilities.
Configure How Visits Are Started Configure where users can initiate visits, such as from the Account Profile, Homepage, or Search results, to fit your business workflow.
