Hide GoTo Actions on Completed or Submitted Visits

Add a visibility filter to hide GoTo actions on completed, submitted, or abandoned visits, keeping the action wheel relevant to active visits.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Life Sciences Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement Add-on license, and the Life Sciences Customer Engagement managed package.
User Permissions Needed
To edit Lightning Record Pages: Life Sciences Commercial Admin
  1. From Setup, open Object Manager, select Visit, click Lightning Record Pages, select the Lightning page you want to update, and select Edit.
  2. Select the Highlight Panel component.
  3. On the right, add a GoTo action or select an existing one, and then select + Add Filter.
  4. Set the filter criteria.
    • Filter Type: Select Record Field.
    • Field: Select Status.
    • Operator: Select Not Equal.
    • Value: Select Completed.

    To hide the action on abandoned visits, add another filter, and set Value to Abandoned.

  5. Save your changes.
