In most scenarios, sales reps create proposals after they receive request for proposals (RFPs) for advertisement campaigns from advertisers and agencies. Proposals are modeled as quotes and ad quotes in Salesforce. When a sales rep creates a proposal, a quote and an ad quote is created for the proposal. The quote is associated with the advertisement campaign's opportunity and the ad quote is associated with the quote.
After the sales rep add ad products to a proposal, ad quote lines are created for each ad product. Each ad quote line is associated with the proposal's ad quote.
After the sales rep configures the targeting criteria of the proposal, ad quote line target values are created for each targeting value selected in the criteria. The ad quote line target value are associated with the proposal's ad quote.
Media Cloud uses the capabilities of Salesforce Document Generation to automate the process of creating pitch decks. A sales rep can create a pitch deck for a proposal or create a pitch deck for multiple proposals of the same advertisement campaign.
Before creating pitch decks, the sales team must ensure that the admin has set up Omnistudio Document Generation to generate pitch decks based on the requirements of the sales team.
After the sales rep generates a pitch deck, the pitch deck is associated to the advertisement campaign's opportunity as an attachment. Sales reps can access their pitch decks at anytime from the Notes and Attachments related list of opportunities.
