Media Planning for Out-of-Home and In-Store Products
Give your media planners one place to plan advertising in the physical world. Planners search, price, and sell out-of-home (OOH) and in-store placements in the same quote-to-order flow as digital media products.

OOH publishers often track inventory in separate systems and spreadsheets, while retail media point solutions rarely combine in-store placements with digital or OOH inventory. Media Cloud brings map-based inventory discovery, OOH and venue-based in-store media planning, and digital media planning into one flow. Media planners can search, select, and price advertising inventory within the standard quote-to-order process, alongside digital media products.
What You Can Plan
Media Cloud supports two connected parts of a physical media campaign.
- Out-of-home (OOH) media: Planners find billboards, transit shelters, and street furniture on an interactive map, and search by proximity to points of interest. See Media Planning for Out-of-Home Media Products.
- In-store media: Planners map indoor venues such as retail stores, shopping malls, and cinema complexes and select ad formats, such as end caps and digital displays. See Media Planning for In-Store Media Products.
Planners can also add the brand-specific products that advertisers want to promote in retail stores. See Sponsored Products for Retail Media Campaigns.
What You Can Achieve
Planning OOH and in-store campaigns in Media Cloud gives customers capabilities that traditional, spreadsheet-based tools can't offer together.
- One tool instead of many. Map-based discovery, retail store planning, and digital planning run in one flow instead of siloed systems and fragmented spreadsheets.
- Faster proposal turnaround. Geospatial discovery built into the quote-to-order flow reduces proposal times when compared to manual booking.
- True omnichannel bundling. Planners combine and price digital, OOH, and in-store line items together, so an advertiser buys a single cross-channel package.
- Cleaner retail media monetization.Planners add sponsored products, which are the brand-specific products that advertisers want to promote, to media plans.
How the Pieces Work Together
OOH, in-store, and sponsored products combine in a single quote. A planner selects physical placements and sponsored products for a retail media campaign. Pricing applies across all line items simultaneously, so digital, OOH, and in-store placements move forward through Quote-to-Order as one coordinated plan.
- Media Planning for Out-of-Home Media Products
Media Cloud brings out-of-home (OOH) inventory into the quote-to-order flow. Your media planners search physical placements such as billboards, transit shelters, and street furniture by location, and price them alongside digital media products. - Media Planning for In-Store Media Products
With in-store media planning, your media planners build campaigns for indoor venues such as retail stores, shopping malls, and cinema complexes. Planners map venue locations, such as end caps and digital displays, to reach the right audiences. - Sponsored Products for Retail Media Campaigns
Sponsored products, also called promoted products, are the brand-specific products that an advertiser pays to promote. These products support both in-store and digital advertising.
