Quote Line Groups in Existing Media Plans and Orders

Media plans created before enabling quote line groups can contain lines that have no group assignment. When you turn on groups and open one of these plans, the unassigned lines appear separately. A message prompts you to assign them to a group before creating an order.

Assign every unassigned line to the default group or a user-defined group before you create an order. The message and the unassigned lines section disappear after all lines have a group assignment.

The message doesn't prevent order creation and the order grid doesn't show unassigned lines. They remain part of the order total and appear in the generated PDF, but not in the order grid, creating a mismatch across representations. Assigning all lines before order creation keeps the media plan and order views consistent. For media plans created after turning on the quote line groups, the default group prevents this condition by providing an initial assignment for new placements. When you clone a grouped media plan, Salesforce preserves its group structure and line assignments in the new plan.
