            Assign Permission Sets to Media Planners and Sales Reps for Advertising Sales Management

            Assign media planners and sales reps permissions to design media proposals and media plans, generate proposal pitch decks, convert media plans to orders.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions with Media Cloud - Advanced
            User Permissions Needed
            To assign permission sets:

            Media planners and sales reps who are assigned the Standard User profile or a clone of the Standard User profile by default have access to Salesforce Platform objects such as Lead, Opportunity, Accounts, and Contacts. Here's the list of permission sets that media planners and sales reps need in addition:

            Name Use Business Requirement
            Media Cloud Runtime Provides users access to run business processes for ad sales. Media planners and sales reps can create and manage media proposals and media plans.
            PlaceOrder API Provides users access to create quotes,add products to quotes, edit product prices in quotes, and convert quotes to orders. Media planners and sales reps get access to Revenue Cloud, and other component objects and services that power the business processes related to creating quotes for media proposals and media plans.
            ProductAndPriceConfiguration API
            Product Catalog Management Viewer
            Product Discovery User
            Salesforce Pricing Run Time User
            Product Configurator
            Rule Engine Runtime
            CreateContract API Provides users access to create a contract for a quote. Media planners and sales reps can create a contract for a quote.
            Create Orders from Quotes Provides users access to create quotes from orders and assetize orders. Media planners and sales reps can convert media plans in to advertisement orders and activate orders.

            		 Provides users access to create documents. Media planners and sales reps can generate proposal pitch decks and contracts.
            1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Users, and then select Users.
            2. Open the user record of the media planner or sales rep.
            3. Click Permission Set Assignments | Edit Assignments.
            4. Move these permission sets to the Enabled Permission Sets list:
              • Media Cloud Runtime
              • PlaceOrder API
              • ProductAndPriceConfiguration API
              • Product Catalog Management Viewer
              • Product Discovery User
              • Salesforce Pricing Run Time User
              • Product Configurator
              • Rule Engine Runtime
              • CreateContract API
              • Create Orders from Quotes
              • Assetize Order
              • DocGen Designer
              • CLM Runtime User
              • Omnistudio User
              • Rule Engine Runtime
            5. Save your changes.
