Edit the Quote Record Page

Improve the quoting experience by customizing the quote record page with transaction line editors and recipient wrappers.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited editions with Media Cloud- Advanced
User Permissions Needed
To edit a record: Edit on the object for the kind of record you’re editing
  1. From the App Launcher, find and select Quotes.
  2. Open a quote record.
  3. Click the Setup gear icon, and then select Edit Page.
  4. Add the Quote Line Items tab and component:
    1. Add a new tab labeled Quote Line Items.
    2. From the Components list, search for Transaction Line Editor.
    3. Drag the component to the Quote Line Items tab.
    4. Configure the Display Columns to include the Recipient field.
    Note
    Note The Split action is visible only if you add the Recipient field to the Display Column.
  5. Add the Locations tab and component.
    1. Add a new tab labeled Locations.
    2. From the Components list, search for Recipient Wrapper.
    3. Drag the component to the Sites tab.
    4. Configure the display fields and organize fields as needed.
    5. Set the Recipient Type to Site.
  6. Save the changes, and activate the page.
