Turn on Intelligent Appointment Management settings to get started with Intelligent
Appointment Management. Follow guided setup steps that walk you through basic data setup and
additional tasks such as connecting to Salesforce Scheduler or an external scheduling system.
You can also optionally set up features such as patient self-scheduling and advanced mutli-step
scheduling.

Health Cloud Foundation permission set
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Intelligent Appointment Management
Settings, and then select Intelligent Appointment Management
Settings.
Turn on Intelligent Appointment Management. The page shows the
guided setup steps.
Follow the guided steps to confirm prerequisite setup such as Provider Search and
create the necessary records for appointment scheduling. Then click Salesforce
Scheduler to complete the steps to connect to Salesforce Scheduler or click
External Scheduling to connect to an external scheduling system.
Follow additional guided setup steps to configure optional features.
Click Optional Setup and follow steps to configure optional
features such as provider badges, an appointment guidance flow. and CRM Analytics
Prediction to reduce patient no-shows.
Click Self-Scheduling and follow steps to build an
Experience Cloud site where patients can book their own appointments.
Click Advanced Scheduling and follow steps to configure
features that address more complex scheduling needs.
