Manage Appraisal Adjustments

Create adjustment records to modify the value of an appraisal or a specific appraisal item. You can apply adjustments for discounts, surcharges, or condition-based value changes.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
User Permissions Needed
To create Appraisal Adjustment records: Manage Appraisals and Valuations
  1. Open the Appraisal or Appraisal Item record you want to adjust.
  2. Click the Related tab.
  3. On the Appraisal Adjustments related list, click New.
  4. Specify these details for the adjustment:
    • Enter a descriptive Name (for example, Seasonal Discount or Condition Surcharge).
    • Select the Type.
    • Enter the Adjustment Value. Use a negative value (for example, -500) to apply a discount.
    • Select the Status.
  5. Save your changes.

    Only adjustment records with a status of Approved are rolled up to the Total Adjustment Value and Final Value fields.
