            Create Net Zero Cloud Profiles

            A profile defines how users access objects and data and what they can do in the app. Typically Net Zero Cloud profile names reflect the role of the user. Assign users a profile based on their role. To assign permissions specific to Net Zero Cloud, clone an existing Salesforce Standard User profile and assign the corresponding permission sets to users.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
            User Permissions Needed
            To create profiles and permission sets: Manage Profiles and Permission Sets

            Net Zero Cloud uses these roles.

            • Net Zero Cloud Manager, who creates and updates records, and modifies CRM Analytics dashboards
            • Net Zero Cloud Admin, who has the same permissions as the Cloud Manager but also manages reference data, configures fuel types, and uploads business metrics data to run What-if analyses
            • Net Zero Cloud Auditor, who reviews the data in the objects and reports, views CRM Analytics dashboards, and collaborates with Net Zero Cloud teams using Chatter during the verification process

            To create a profile:

            1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Profiles, and then select Profiles.
            2. Click New Profile.
            3. For the existing profile, select Standard User.
            4. For the profile name, enter Net Zero Cloud Manager.
            5. Save your changes.
            6. Depending on the user interface you’re using, do one of these.
              • Enhanced profile user interface—Click Assigned Apps, and then click Edit.
              • Original profile user interface—Click Edit, and then go to the Custom App Settings section.
            7. Select Net Zero as the default app.
            8. Save your changes.
            9. Repeat these steps for the Net Zero Cloud Admin and Net Zero Cloud Auditor profiles.
