How Rich Text Snippets are Handled in Documents

When working with rich text snippets in a Microsoft Word or Google Doc document, consider these points.

  • Unsupported Content or Styles: When a rich text snippet is inserted into a Word or Google Doc, some elements or styles might not be compatible and won't render correctly. To ensure content alignment, you'll need to manually reinsert the missing content in the document or save the document back to Salesforce.
  • Nested Rich Text: When a rich text snippet is nested in another rich text block, the spacing may be misaligned between the Salesforce and Word or Google Doc versions. This behavior is not consistent at all times and may vary depending on the formatting used.
