Set Up Your Org to Gather Social and Governance Data from Affiliates
Enable affiliate companies, such as investors, manage their social and governance data and generate reports by accessing Net Zero Cloud objects through the Experience Cloud site that you create.
To gather social and governance data for affiliate companies, involves these high-level steps.
- To set up roles and permissions for your affiliate companies, Set Up Access for Your Suppliers, Partners, and Affiliates.
- To create an internal organizational unit that identifies your parent account, Create an Internal Organizational Unit to Identify the Parent Company.
- Define the company hierarchy or structure by setting up account relationships.
- To represent a relationship between the parent company and all accounts in the org, Create a Party-Role Relationship for the Parent Company.
- To represent the relationship between the parent company and all accounts, Create an Account Hierarchy.
- Associate the social and governance records with the affiliate account.
- If a disclosure reporting period record is associated with an affiliate account and the other social and governance object records associated with the reporting period aren’t associated with an account, it’s considered affiliate company data.
