Review USEEIO Scope 3 Category Matches

Set up the United States Environmentally-Extended Input-Output (USEEIO) emissions factor scope 3 dataset.

Required Editions

Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
Permission Set Needed
To enter and modify data:

Net Zero Cloud Manager

OR

Net Zero Cloud Admin

You can load your own procurement emissions factor sets to use with or without the inbuilt USEEIO dataset.

  1. In Scope 3 Hub, click Setup Assistant.
  2. To navigate to the Manage Procurement Emissions Factor Set page, under Step 1 Prepare Procurement Emissions Factor Sets Data, in the substep Review USEEIO scope 3 category matches, click Manage Datasets.
  3. To create a procurement emissions factor set record, click New.
  4. Enter a name, the emissions factor update year, and a currency code.

    Note the dataset name and Salesforce ID for loading related data to the dataset later.

    Note
    Note You can find the Salesforce ID in the dataset. Copy the ID from your browser address bar. The ID is the 18-character alpha-numeric value after /lightning/o/PcmtEmssnFctrSet/.
  5. On the Load and Manage Procurement Emissions Factor Set page, for the emissions factor scope 3 dataset, from the actions menu, select Match Categories.
  6. Review the current matches, make any needed changes, and then save your updates.
  7. To edit the record, use the actions menu, and then select Edit.
  8. To indicate that the dataset is ready for use, select Complete.
  9. Save your changes.
